On September 25, we organised a meeting hosted by ATTAC-Romania. Representatives from different Romanian NGOs were present (ATTAC, Social Democracy Research Institute, Romanian Initiative
Union, Genius of Carpathians, Fredrich Eberth, Global Network), and the representative of ATTAC-France: Menahem Georges, Research Director of CNSR (http://www.france.attac.org/au761).
We have discussed topics like: the so called War on Terror and its consecvences, the Militarisation of Space, UN, EU Constitution, NATO enlargement and the presence of US troops in Romania
and East Europe. |
